“River! Fire up the roof!”
TARDIS lighting nailed, I reckon! Using clamp lights, a 75w halogen bulb shooting through the roof to the lamp, a big old 65w flood clamped half way down for the interior :) Tomorrow the wireless speakers arrive for sound effects and music (2 inside, another 2 outdoor speakers mounted on the roof out of sight), hooked up to an ipod loaded with goodness. Theeeeen, the next project is to set up the projector and edit together a projected montage of clips from the show, lighting up the big blue box at an angle so two whole sides are covered. Imagine the Doctor / Rose scene where they’re pressing their faces against the white walls, with one on one side, one on the other - yeah, bloody hell :) So yes, it’ll be like the Magic Kingdom’s ‘The Magic, The Memories and You’, except it’ll be Whovian themed, projected against the side of the TARDIS and called something like ‘The Wibbly, The Wobbly and the Timey Wimey’.
I am absolutely trembling with the joys of geekmas, you guys! x
